Terms of Service
1. B2B service
Scan Shield Cloud is a private B2B infrastructure service operated by Scan Shield Cloud FZCO. It is intended for organizations and professional users acting for business purposes, not for public consumer self-service registration.
2. Access requests and individual review
Submitting an access request does not create an account, form a contract, guarantee acceptance or require Scan Shield Cloud FZCO to provide services. Each request may be individually reviewed for organization details, intended use, security risk, technical fit and acceptable-use considerations.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator may approve, decline, request additional information or impose conditions on an application. Registration is completed only after approval and provisioning.
3. Contract formation
These website terms do not replace a commercial order, statement of work, service schedule or other written agreement. Paid or production services become subject to the contractual documents accepted during onboarding. Where there is a conflict, an executed commercial agreement takes priority to the extent stated in that agreement.
4. Customer responsibilities
Customers must keep account and organization information accurate, protect credentials, authorize only appropriate users, maintain lawful control of their origins and content, and comply with the Acceptable Use Policy and applicable law.
5. Service scope
Depending on the contracted service, the platform may provide cloud-delivery, edge-delivery, origin-connectivity, security, routing, hosting or related infrastructure functions. The exact technical scope is defined by the applicable order or service schedule.
6. Availability and SLA
No specific uptime percentage, service credit or service-level guarantee applies unless it is expressly stated in a separately agreed SLA, order form or service schedule. Marketing descriptions such as resilient or reliable connectivity describe design objectives and do not independently create an SLA.
7. Suspension and security controls
Access may be restricted or suspended where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect infrastructure, comply with law or provider requirements, address security incidents, prevent material harm or respond to a material breach of contract or the Acceptable Use Policy.
8. Intellectual property
Platform software, design, documentation and branding remain the property of their respective owners. Customers retain rights in their own content and data subject to the rights necessary for Scan Shield Cloud FZCO to provide the contracted service.
9. Liability
Any warranties, liability limits, indemnities and remedies applicable to paid services are defined in the executed commercial agreement. Nothing in these website terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Governing law
The governing law and dispute forum for a customer relationship must be stated in the applicable commercial agreement and should reflect the operator’s actual UAE incorporation and free-zone jurisdiction. This website does not claim DIFC or ADGM jurisdiction unless expressly stated in an executed agreement.
